panorama_6E56E7D8_6709_EC93_41C5_1ADD9A2E2482.subtitle = Each room is equipped with a private bathroom with a shower or tub. The rooms are large and comfortable with space for your support person and visitors, as allowed, during the labor process. The sofa folds out for an overnight stay. \

Our dedicated team of nurses will provide support throughout the labor process.  If your preference is a natural childbirth, our nurses can offer a variety of comfort measures including birth balls, peanuts, shower, birthing tub and more. We work closely with our anesthesia team for management of labor pain as well. \

The OB Triage room is a temporary location for patients before being admitted to one of our Labor & Delivery suites or moved to a pre-operative room for a scheduled cesarean section delivery.

Mother Baby suites area all private. Baby can stay with mom in the room, but there is also a 24-hour nursery on the floor if needed. \

A lot will happen during your stay to prepare you and baby to go home. Baby will be assessed by a neonatologist, will receive initial vaccinations and will receive several tests. TriHealth lactation consultants will provide in-room support to try to ensure breastfeeding success at home. \
 \
In addition to medical care, the team will help you apply for a birth certificate, assist with infant education and review safe sleep procedures
panorama_D107A803_C25E_7A9A_41A2_016F73F65CE9.subtitle = The Harold and Margaret Thomas Special Care Nursery is a state-of-the-art, Level 2 nursery for babies born too early or who need some interventional care. If your baby needs a higher level of care, your team will arrange for transport to TriHealth Good Samaritan Hospital or Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. If any complications arise during pregnancy, delivery may be moved to TriHealth Good Samaritan Hospital for access to the Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
